Are the Volkswagen ID.3 electric vehicles worth the investment?

I'm considering buying a new car and am interested in going electric. I've heard good things about the Volkswagen ID.3, but I'm wondering if it's worth the investment. Can someone give me their personal experience?

Not really worth it. My friend bought one and has had nothing but issues with it. Stick with a gasoline car for now.
