How do you increase fuel efficiency in a Volkswagen Tiguan?

I just bought a Volkswagen Tiguan and I want to make sure I am getting the best fuel efficiency possible. Any tips or tricks?

Regularly check and replace your air filter. A dirty air filter can decrease fuel efficiency.

Drive at a consistent speed. Avoid sudden accelerations and decelerations.

Keep your tires properly inflated. Under-inflated tires can decrease fuel efficiency.

Avoid idling for long periods of time. Turn your engine off when you're stopped for more than a minute.
