How is the fuel efficiency on the Volkswagen Touareg?

I've been considering buying a Volkswagen Touareg, but I'm concerned about the fuel efficiency. Can anyone share their experience with the gas mileage on this car?

I've had the Volkswagen Touareg for a year now, and I am extremely happy with the fuel efficiency. I carpool with a colleague and we split the cost of gas, and it's really not that expensive.

I've been driving the Volkswagen Touareg for about 5 years now, and while it's not the most fuel efficient car, it's definitely not bad. I usually get about 20-22 MPG.

I use my Volkswagen Touareg for road trips and the fuel efficiency has been surprisingly good. I've gotten up to 27 MPG on the highway.

I have the diesel version of the Volkswagen Touareg and the fuel efficiency is amazing. I get around 30 MPG on average.

I wouldn't say the fuel efficiency on the Volkswagen Touareg is the best, but it's definitely not the worst. I usually get about 18-20 MPG.
