How is the Volkswagen Arteon's handling compared to other luxury cars?

I currently drive a BMW 5 Series, but I'm in the market for a new luxury car. I've been considering the Volkswagen Arteon, but I'm not sure if the handling will live up to my current car. Can anyone compare the two?
