Is a Volkswagen Touareg a reliable car for off-roading?

I've been looking at getting a Volkswagen Touareg for off-roading purposes. Can anyone vouch for its reliability on rough terrain?

I've taken my Touareg off-roading multiple times and it's never let me down. Highly recommend.

I've had some issues with my Touareg on off-road trips, had to make a few repairs. Not recommended.

I've found the Touareg to be reliable on off-road adventures, as long as you take care of regular maintenance. Doesn't hurt to have some spare parts on hand though.
