Is the Volkswagen Golf worth the money?

I've been considering buying a Volkswagen Golf, but I'm not sure if it's worth the price. Can anyone who has owned one share their experience and provide some insight?

Yes, I highly recommend the Volkswagen Golf. I've had mine for over 5 years now and it's been extremely reliable and has a great driving experience.

I have to disagree, I owned a Volkswagen Golf and it was nothing but trouble. Constant maintenance and expensive repairs. I wouldn't recommend it.
