Is the Volkswagen ID.3 a good electric vehicle option?

I have been considering purchasing the Volkswagen ID.3 as my first electric vehicle. I have heard mixed reviews about its battery range and charging capabilities. Can anyone provide some insight on whether this would be a good choice for someone new to electric cars?
