Is the Volkswagen T-Cross fuel efficient?

I'm considering buying a Volkswagen T-Cross and I'm wondering if it's a fuel efficient car. Can anyone share their experience with its fuel consumption?

I own a T-Cross and I can say that it's very fuel efficient. I only have to fill up the tank once a week.

I don't own a T-Cross but my friend does and he always brags about how little fuel it consumes. Definitely a fuel efficient car.
