Is the Volkswagen T-Cross the best SUV for off-roading?

I'm an adventurous person and I'm looking for a reliable SUV that can handle off-road terrain. I've read some reviews and the Volkswagen T-Cross caught my attention. Can anyone share their experience with this SUV? Does it live up to its reputation?
