Is the Volkswagen Tiguan a reliable SUV option?

I have been looking at the Volkswagen Tiguan as a potential SUV to purchase, but I am unsure about its reliability. Can anyone share their experience with this vehicle?

I have owned a Volkswagen Tiguan for the past 5 years and haven't had any major mechanical issues. It's been a reliable daily driver for me.

I bought a Volkswagen Tiguan last year and it has been nothing but trouble. It's been in and out of the shop for various issues. Don't waste your money on this SUV.

I work at a Volkswagen dealership and have seen a lot of Tiguan's come in for repairs. In my opinion, it's not the most reliable option on the market.
