Is the Volkswagen Tiguan fuel efficient?

I am interested in purchasing a Volkswagen Tiguan but I am concerned about its fuel efficiency. Can anyone share their experience with this car's fuel consumption?

Yes, I have owned a Volkswagen Tiguan for the past 3 years and I have found it to be quite fuel efficient. It gets around 25 miles per gallon in the city and 31 miles per gallon on the highway.
