Is the Volkswagen Tiguan reliably built?

I'm considering purchasing a Volkswagen Tiguan but I've heard mixed reviews about its reliability. Can anyone speak from personal experience?

In my experience, the Volkswagen Tiguan has been a great investment. I've had mine for over 5 years without any major issues.

I've had nothing but problems with my Volkswagen Tiguan. Constant trips to the mechanic and expensive repairs have made me regret my purchase.
