Is the Volkswagen Touareg a good car for off-roading?

I'm planning a trip to the mountains and I'm considering renting a Volkswagen Touareg. Is it a good option for off-roading or should I look for another car?

In my experience, the Volkswagen Touareg is great for off-roading. I've taken it on numerous trips to the mountains and it hasn't disappointed me yet. The four-wheel drive system is top-notch and the sturdy build of the car makes it able to handle rough terrains easily.
