Should I Consider Buying a Volkswagen Golf?

I'm in the market for a new car and I'm considering the Volkswagen Golf. I've heard mixed reviews about its reliability and performance. Can anyone offer any insight?

In my experience, the Volkswagen Golf has been a great car. I've had mine for over 5 years and haven't had any major issues.

I would not recommend the Volkswagen Golf. I have had nothing but problems with mine and have had to spend a lot of money on repairs.
