Should I go for a Volkswagen Passat or a different car brand?

I am currently in the market for a new car and I am considering a Volkswagen Passat. However, I am not sure if it's the best choice for me. Can anyone offer advice on whether the Passat is worth it or if there are better options out there?

I own a Passat and I have had nothing but problems with it. From constant repairs to poor gas mileage, I regret my purchase. I would advise against getting a Passat.
