What are the best winter tires for a Volkswagen Golf?

I just got a new Volkswagen Golf and I'm not sure which winter tires to get. Can anyone recommend the best ones for this car? I want something that can handle icy roads and provide good traction. Thanks!

I have a Volkswagen Golf and I highly recommend getting the Michelin X-Ice Xi3 tires. They have great grip and excellent performance on icy roads.

I've had good experience with the Bridgestone Blizzak WS80 tires on my Golf. They provide excellent traction and are also very durable.

I recently got the Pirelli Winter Sottozero 3 tires for my Golf and I couldn't be happier. They have amazing grip on both snow and ice.
