What is the best year for the Volkswagen Touareg?

I am planning on purchasing a used Volkswagen Touareg, but I'm not sure which year is the best in terms of reliability and overall performance. Any recommendations from experienced Touareg owners?

I would say that the 2017 Touareg is the best year for its combination of performance and reliability. Plus, it has some great new features like adaptive cruise control and lane departure warning.
