I am planning a road trip with my friends and we are taking my new Volkswagen ID.3. I am not sure which charging option would be best for us on long road trips. Could someone please give me some advice?
ReplyI would recommend using DC fast charging stations for long road trips. They are faster and more convenient than traditional charging stations. Just make sure to plan your route ahead of time to ensure there are enough stations along the way.
I personally prefer using home charging for road trips. It may take longer, but it is more cost-effective and I can plug in overnight at my accommodation. Plus, it allows me to stick to my own charging schedule.
If you're not in a rush, using a standard charging station at a rest stop or shopping center can be a good option. Just be prepared to spend some time waiting for your car to charge.
