Are Volkswagen Tiguan's known for having good fuel economy?

I'm in the market for a new car and I've heard mixed opinions about the fuel efficiency of Volkswagen Tiguan. Can anyone who owns one or has experience with one share their thoughts on this aspect?

In my experience, the fuel economy of my Volkswagen Tiguan has been great. I've been able to get around 30 mpg on average. I would highly recommend it!

I recently purchased a Volkswagen Tiguan and have been disappointed with the fuel efficiency. I only average about 25 mpg. So if good fuel economy is a top priority for you, I would suggest looking at other options.

I've had my Volkswagen Tiguan for a few years now and it's been pretty consistent with fuel economy. I get around 27 mpg. While it's not the best, it's also not the worst. But overall, I love my Tiguan and would highly recommend it for other reasons.
